In “Mr. Monk and the Red Herring”, (season 3.10) it is revealed that Sharona had left to return to Jersey with her son, and that she had remarried her ex-husband, Trevor. At the end of “Mr. Monk and the End”, it was shown that Randy and Sharona had found a home together in New Jersey.

How was monk poisoned?
Kane Ritchotte took over the role of Benjy after Max Morrow left the show and played the character until Sharona’s character left the show. After being written off of the show in ’04, Kane didn’t do too much acting, only appearing in When Do We Eat, All of Us, and A Mother’s Rage.
