So how hot is the cayenne pepper? Where does it fit in? This is typically a medium-hot chili (30,000 to 50,000 Scoville heat units), fitting neatly between the serrano and the Thai pepper. In terms of our jalapeño reference point, on average it is around 12 times hotter than a jalapeño.
To me, Cholula is more like a spicy ketchup. Tapatio has great flavor and a good heat to it. Delicious, but more spicy than the sauced mentioned above.
2 answers. I use valentina for some snakes like chips, popcorn or whatever and tapatio for foods like quesadillas or tostadas. Tapatio has more of just a hot spicy. Valentina has more flavor of spice.
