Who invented Midol?
Midol works great for me as a perfect blend of acetaminophen, caffeine and a diuretic to reduce bloating, ease cramping, and keep me going when I don’t even want to get up out of bed. It works quickly, usually in less than a half an hour. I have been taking Midol since I was 13 for PMS and menstrual symptoms.
Acetaminophen helps to reduce fever and/or mild to moderate pain (such as headache, backache, aches/pains due to muscle strain, cold, or flu). The antihistamine in this product may cause drowsiness, and therefore it can also be used as a nighttime sleep aid.
Can men take Midol® products for general symptoms of headache or body ache? Midol® products are specifically formulated to help relieve the menstrual symptoms of women. However, men can use Midol® as well, if they experience the same symptoms.

What is in Midol?
Midol is distributed by Bayer. Midol was originally sold in 1911 as a headache and toothache remedy that was considered safer because it did not use the narcotics typically used at the time.
