What is the easiest and least painful bone to break?
The femur, or thigh bone, is the toughest bone in the body to break. It’s the largest and thickest bone, for two things, and it’s also protected by all those leg muscles.
Does breaking a bone always hurt?
A large amount of pain and increased pain when moving the arm. Swelling. Maybe an obvious deformity compared to the other arm. Possible open wound either from the bone puncturing the skin or from the skin being cut during the injury.
If the break is small or it’s just a crack, you may not feel much pain or even realise that you’ve broken a bone. Get medical help as soon as possible if you think you’ve broken a bone.
