What is the best use for testing soap bubbles?
How to Check for Gas Line Leaks
Bubble testing is the simplest, least expensive method of detecting and assessing leaks. The procedure involves creation of a pressure differential across the package with air (or some other gas) on the high pressure side (inside package) and a water chamber on the low pressure side (outside package).
Soapy water is best for finding big leaks. If you suspect that your leak is smaller, try using an electronic detector instead. If you think there might be a leak in the longer stretch of your refrigerant tubes, spray along the entire line.
