What is the best Pokemon team for Emerald?
Salamence has (even though it is only by 1 point) a higher Physical Attack stat and a higher Special Attack stat. Salamence also sits in a much better Speed tier than Dragonite. With this Generation, Game Freak differentiated Dragonite from Salamence as the bulkier, more defensively oriented Pokemon.
Who is better salamence or Dragonite?
Salamence in general is a weak Pokemon so you have to take care of it carefully and concentrate. Personally I don’t like… wait, those are good moves already, especially Crunch and Flamethrower, but I’m doubting about Fly. Salamences should max out ALWAYS Speed, it’s up to you for another max out.
There are only a handful of Fire-types in Emerald, and Blaziken is 100% the best. It is a brutal attacker that can put physical and special attacks to good use. With STAB Fighting-type and Fire-type moves, Blaziken can be an amazing pacesetter for the team.
