How do I know my leg size?
Womens Bottoms
Use warm water to fill a spray bottle and spray the waistband until it’s thoroughly damp. Start moving. Squat down, do lunges, pull each leg up to your chest, or do any other movements that will help pull and stretch the dampened waistline of the pants. Do this until the waist has reached the desired level of stretch.
Jeans & Trousers inside leg length
W stands for waist width (Waist = W ) and L stands for leg length (L = Length). Each pants size that is labeled in inches includes these two figures. For example, if you have a jeans size 34/32, the number 34 means that you have a waist width of 34 inches. The number 32 then corresponds to a leg length of 32 inches.
People don’t want to buy a length that is too short, as there may not be enough material to let down the cuffs or to make cuffs where the pants come in plain bottoms. Therefore, the pants would have to fit both 31 and 32, at a minimum. I think the majority of customers would take 31 (if it were available) or 32.
Don’t Want to Measure Your Inseam? Use our SUGGESTED sizing to calculate your inseam length:
The inseam length refers to the length of the pant leg and usually comes in lengths from 30″ – 36″ but of course those sizes usually don’t fit shorter guys – so our pants start at 25″ and go up to 29″ inseams!
Unlike denim, dress pants should sit at your hips or even a touch higher for the most flattering look. Bunched-up zippers are not your friend. And the waist should fit snugly. Even if you choose to wear a belt, dress pants should fit perfectly without one.
