What does a black bandana mean?
Don’t walk around wearing just a bandana unless you are ready for some sort of issue. If you wear one around your head with a hat above it in a decent manner you may be able to get away – but the safest one is a white one. Most of the other colors are associated with some sort of large gang, plain and simple.
The “Crips” identify themselves with the colors of blue or black or a combination of the two. “Blood” gangs generally use red accessories, such as caps or bandanas, to identify themselves.
