Is the puppet from Victorious real?
Matthew H. “Matt” Bennett is an American actor and writer. He is best known for playing the role of Robbie Shapiro in the Nickelodeon sitcom, Victorious. His alter ego is Mott Bonnott.
He is the second character who thought to be dead for many episodes and then revealed to be alive. In the episode Invisible Brad, he wanted to replace Henry as a sidekick; in Grave Danger, he wanted to replace Ray so he could be a super hero.
Is Jake Farrow a ventriloquist?
Who is Matt Bennetts wife?
As an actor, Farrow is known for the role of Gavin Mitchell on Drake & Josh, and for voicing Rex Powers, Robbie Shapiro’s ventriloquist dummy character on Victorious….As an actor.
It is unknown whether Matt is a real ventriloquist or not. Nick.com said that Matt had special training in ventriloquism before he played Robbie, but it has been stated by cast and crew members that Rex’s voice is dubbed by an uncredited Jake Farrow. At the very least, Bennett did the puppetry for Rex.
Robbie Shapiro/Played by
Jacob “Jake” Farrow was a writer for Victorious and the voice of Rex. He is left uncredited for this to give the illusion that Robbie actually ventriloquizes Rex. Farrow wrote six episodes of Victorious.
Rex is a puppet, but for Robbie, who finds the term “puppet” offensive, he’s more of a best friend. “Rex is my wants and desires put into physical form,” actor Matt Bennett revealed back in 2010 during the first season of filming this show.
