How do you get a Water Stone in Pokemon HeartGold?
The cause of Red ‘s Poliwhirl’s evolution had been one of these said stones, proving the legend to be true. Yellow was later led to the dome by a wild Tentacruel, finding a Leaf Stone in it, but the Fire, Thunder, and Water Stones were missing.
Other uses. In Pokémon Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver, in the Ruins of Alph, the player requires a Water Stone to open the hidden room in the southwestern chamber. In Pokémon Crystal, the player simply needs to have it in their Bag. In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, they need to use it while facing the wall.
Go to the Pokethlon just West of the National Park and play for a while until you’ve got 2500 points, then check the prizes every day. One of them is a water stone, each stone shows up on a different day, along with metal coat and kings rock.
Wednesday
Rare Candy – 2000 Points (Mondays and Saturdays) Water Stone – 2500 Points (Wednesday) Thunder Stone – 2500 Points (Thursdays)
The Pokemon Sword and Shield Water Stone can be used to evolve Lombre into Ludicolo, Shellder into Cloyster, and Eevee into Vaporeon.
Gold/Silver/Crystal: The Water Stone can be obtained from Bill’s Grandfather and Fisherman Tully on Route 34 (Crystal). It can also be obtained via Mystery Gift. Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald: The Water Stone can be obtained from the Diving Treasure Hunter, and can also be found in the Abandoned Ship.
The Water Stone is an All-Maker stone along Solstheim’s western coast, due north-northwest of Bloodskal Barrow.
In Generation II, Bill’s grandfather asks the player to bring him a round, green Pokémon that has leaves growing on its head, which is Oddish. However, in those games, and in subsequent generations, Oddish’s body (unless it is Shiny) is blue.
Pokéathlon Dome
Pokéathlon is a new game feature introduced in Pokémon Heart Gold & Pokémon Soul Silver. In the west of the National Park in Johto is the Pokéathlon Dome. This Dome is where a whole new Pokémon contest stands.
In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the player can purchase Evolution stones from the Pokéathlon Dome’s Athlete Shop. The specific stones available depend on the day of the week.
Water Stones are found from the Pokeathalon for 2500 points Wednesdays only. That is the only place in Johto that you can find a Water Stone. You can get a Water Stone from Bill’s Grandpa up on Cerulean Cape in Kanto by showing him a Staryu.
A Water Stone can be purchased from the traveling merchant for 5000 gold, and sold for 2500-3250 gold.
