How do you convert splines to lines in AutoCAD?
To select all instances of a similar type in a drawing:
To flatten a drawing automatically in AutoCAD: Use the FLATTEN command to change the Z values of all lines, arcs, and polylines to 0. Turn off or freeze any hatch layers with hatch patterns so they are not included in the selection. Type FLATTEN at the command line. Select all objects and press the Enter key.
To convert a polyline into true spline type PE and press enter, then select polyline which you want to convert and select spline from prompt appearing on the command line. Press enter to exit polyline edit command.
Load with the CUI
Converting Line to Polyline Type PE on the command line and press Enter to start polyline edit command, the command line will prompt you to select objects for making changes. Click on the object which you want to change to polyline, you can also select multiple objects by selecting Multiple from the command prompt.
If the spline and arc are joined as a single polyline object, type X or EXPLODE at the command line, select the object, and hit the Enter key. The spline and arc objects will now be separate objects.
